Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

OKAY so I'm not dead, Anime Oasis did not kill me, I've just been really busy.

Want to hear why?  No?  Too bad! 8D

I'm moving at the end of the month.  But on the eleventh I start working at my second job again, and I'm getting extra hours at my first job, plus it's the first round of Camp NaNoWriMo this month, so...um...I'm trying to get everything done before I start working all of those extra shifts (if things go badly for my coworker I could be working around fifty hours a week, so...uh...let's hope things go really well for my coworker!)

Anyway, to what you're really reading this journal for, which is LtB.  I have a page nearly completed, so expect an update soon.  After that expect general art and such.

I'm sorry I've been so quiet lately.  On July 6th my schedule returns to normal, and I'll be moving at the end of the month, so July will be a great and wonderful time for art, I'm hoping! 8D

Also might be going to Fandemonium in Nampa, ID.  But if I'm there, it will probably just be with prints, some extra grab bags, and commissions.  Oh and ~theHarechan and ~Deserted-Dreams (who was kind enough to offer part of her table! <3)

Okay that's all from me.  Hopefully I can get a lot of stuff done before the 11th!  We'll see!

Idaho cons can be pretty fun! I would actually recommend Tomodachifest. It's Thanksgiving weekend, and it's a pretty small con, but it's so much fun! There's also Furidaho, which I heard was a blast, so I'm going to try and attend it next year!
