Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

To my American friends.  To everyone else I hope you have the best November 24th ever!  And eat turkey if you want to.  It's quite delicious when prepared right.

I miss digital art.  Traditional is fun and faster, but I miss the things I can do digitally.

uh...anyway...

So I will be on my way to Tomodachifest very early Friday morning and I won't be back until Sunday evening.  I am currently at my parents' house and we're all going to dinner tomorrow with family in the middle of nowhere.  Next week is the week before dead week, then dead week, then finals and...well, I will be moving and FINALLY getting time to edit some things (when I'm not dying from a horrible cold) so...art might be slow.  I will still be working on commissions and a few side projects and I know art has been pathetic this semester but expect it to get more pathetic. XD  I will get some Gatekeepers (or whatever) stuff up but...don't expect too much more than that!

...Also there is Skyward Sword to take into consideration.

Anyway just an update, really.  Commissions will remain open despite any delays.

OH but so you're all aware the building that I go to for scanning and editing purposes will be closed for about two weeks around Christmas so if the art you're purchasing is a Christmas present then please ORDER SOON.
