Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Happy 2012!

so uh...I left my copics at my mom's house.  She was comparing the bag I had them in with her makeup bag (since I just use a makeup bag XD) and seeing if they were the same size and I forgot about it, so all of my inking pens and my colors are sitting in my mom's office being useless.

I'M AWESOME.

So...I have two more secret santas that were technically due like ten minutes ago that I will have to post sketches of and hopefully finish them soon. XD  One of them was even half inked! Aggggh. XD

I am so dumb I'm sorry. D:

Um...in other news seriously editing a novel of mine.  Very seriously.  Should be done before the end of January if all goes well, hopefully sooner than that!  Wish me luck!

Hope you all have a wonderful new year with some great resolutions!  Here are my resolutions:

1) Eat healthier (promptly ruined at 12:02 when I ate a piece of chocolate).
2) Try to get published.
3) Keep my job and keep doing well in school.
4) See my con friends more!  (will be fulfilled in a few days when :iconcyberneticdenim: comes to visit! 8DDDDD)

Thaaaat's about it. 8D  Back to editing and watching a Batman marathon.

XD I remember when I use to leave important things behind at my brother or sisters house...now that we all live within like 2 miles of each other its much easier to retrieve them.
