It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

I haven't been around much the past few days because I've been cleaning houses for money.  Which I suppose is sort of a job.  I'll still be able to go to Anime Oasis, at any rate!  I'm only on a break because ~theHarechan (who could also use commissions) is cooking in the room I need to clean.

Um...not much else going on.  Commissions are still open.  I'm working through them!  Thank you for all of the commissions so far!  X3  Since my supposed job didn't call me I'm guessing training isn't happening for a while.  (Watch, it will happen DURING AO)

Oh and the prologue/Chapter 1 of Lies That Bind will be ending the week before the convention, so the week of will be a filler picture while I get ready to launch the next part!  Thank you soooo much for all of the support so far!  I hope you all continue to enjoy the comic, and hopefully I'll have a few fun surprises for you guys!

And I know I don't say it enough, so thank you thank you THANK YOU for being such awesome watchers, for all of your comments and faves, and everything else!  A lot of you have become good friends and I'm grateful every day for you!

Isn't cleaning such a work out? My parents don't want to clean any more lol but I understand cuz they're busy. So they are paying me a little bit to do all the cleaning. XD But I don't mind because it's helping me make money for school AND lose the weight I gained from being sick so yay! XD
