How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hi I've been back for a bit but I might as well make an announcement.

Art is slow but coming.

I still can't get into the swing of the semester.  Probably because of my job.  I'm still not used to having one of those, and with the hours spent taking notes and the hours spent editing them?  It's like having twenty-five credits.  Seriously.  I am dying. XD  And for nine of those credits I can't even draw in class!  Insanity.

And my social life went...well...crazy.  Way crazy.

When I have time to myself I've been...reading, admittedly.  My friend let me borrow the entirety of the Chronicles of Chrestomanci..yeah that was a bad plan. XD  (but I'm on the last book yay!)

Um...not much else, really.  I will definitely have a sketch dump up today or tomorrow.  And maybe even...gasp...a finished piece.  MADNESS.

Sorry things have been crazy!  Hopefully I can really get used to everything and start cranking out artwork again, though I suspect that my wares at Banzai will suffer because of this. XD

Hope you guys are all doing well!  Anything new and interesting happen?  Tell, tell!  I feel like I've been cut off from my DA friends lately. :<

I cringed at the word 'notes'. D8 I've never taken so many in my life this year. I actually have a wrist brace on because I feel like I'm getting carpel tunnel O.o

You're brave to draw in class(the ones you can anyways)! I'm scared to, I don't want people googling over my shoulder.

I will zoom over to your sketch dump when I'm on a computer that is my own. This one sucks! XD

Owch! I had to take so many notes yesterday (and the teacher was trying to get through her powerpoint like it was on fire) that my shoulder hurt.

When people start looking at my art over my shoulder (well, to the side, I always sit in the back) I start drawing naked people until they look away then put clothes on them. XD
