How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

. I didn't really leave Artist Alley (I was so sick and I'm sorry to everyone who probably thinks I'm a zombie now. I couldn't walk very far so...I just sort of hung out XD) but AA was pretty fun! I got to see

OH AND

gave me THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER in the form of an awesome Psych lap blanket that I have been using ever since.  It's soft and wonderful and SHE IS AMAZING and it was great seeing her!  (even though I was a zombie XD)

I probably won't be back next year, mostly because Banzai always takes place during midterms at ISU, and I can't handle a big convention in the middle of midterms with classes getting harder.  There were also a few issues...like being in the same room as the video game room which made it hard to hear and made my head hurt, and the staff not being...um...present other than to give me paperwork and a survey of how they did (what do you think? Do you even need a survey?) and the possibility of it being done through a raffle next year (lol what?)...yeah.  I will miss everyone I see there because you guys are what makes the con fun, but I won't miss the stress. 8D;

The best part was when I doodled a picture of Lin and Caleb and someone bought it because they wanted art of original characters, and when some people asked specifically for art of OCs that I had (luckily I had a few things!).  That made my day. X3

Anyway it was fun and I am glad that I went!  I'm going to go recover for a few days then things can go back to normal.  Whoo!
